About Us
It started with a dog named trouble
Ten years ago I brought home a scruffy, half-wild rescue who chewed through two leashes in his first week and refused to sleep anywhere except the cold kitchen floor. I spent that first winter buying every bed, every harness, every grooming tool I could find — and returning most of it.
The leashes frayed. The beds flattened after a month. The "premium" grooming brush snapped the third time I used it. I kept thinking the same thing every pet owner eventually thinks: somebody is making this stuff without ever having owned a dog.
Ten years of learning what actually holds up
That frustration turned into something of an obsession. Over the next decade I worked around dog products — testing them, comparing them, learning which materials survive a real dog and which ones only survive a photo shoot. I learned that the difference between a bed a dog loves and one they ignore usually comes down to the rim height. That most retractable leashes fail at the locking mechanism, not the cord. That the tools which actually reduce shedding are rarely the ones with the biggest marketing budget.
Somewhere in there I stopped being a frustrated customer and became the person friends texted before buying anything for their dog.
Why Ever Forever exists
I built this store to be the shortlist I wish I'd had that first winter. Not a catalogue of everything — a small, deliberately narrow selection of things I'd put in my own home.
The name comes from the simplest thing I know about dogs: whatever else changes in your life, they show up the same way every single day. That kind of loyalty deserves gear that doesn't fall apart in a month.
How we work
- Fewer products, chosen carefully. We'd rather carry six things worth owning than six hundred that aren't.
- Honest about shipping. Most orders take 8–15 business days. We tell you that upfront rather than promising two-day delivery we can't deliver.
- Real support. Email us and a person reads it — usually within a business day or two.
If your dog is anything like mine was that first winter, I hope something here makes it easier.
